Ki-44 Shoki
I believe this represents an aircraft of the 2nd Chutai, 85th Sentai. My source for the skin is in Japanese, and I am unable to translate it. Thanks to Geo and Jamie Richards for their work on the Ki-44!

This is an adaptation of Jamie Richard's Ki-44 skin for the new Ki-44 3DZ. Included are two versions of the skin: one is the original version from Jamie, the other is a historically accurate version of the skin.
According to information I have received from Butch (http://pub47.ezboard.com/fallboutwarfarefrm1), the color plate this skin was based on is incorrect. So, I decided to include a correct version (white "23" with red outline, first chuta of the 23th Senta) as well as the original (red "23" with white outline, second chuta of the 23th Senta).

Jamie's original ReadMe:

By Jamie Richards (aka "Fritigern"), Harry McWilliams, and Woolfman - January 2001

This scheme represents a Nakajima Ki-44-II-Otsu Shoki "Tojo" of the 23rd Sentai, home island defence (as indicated by the the white fuselage and wing bands), 1944. The markings on the tail are an abstract rendering of the unit number "23".

The origin of the 3D model for this airplane is actually the Ki-84 Frank from MicroProse's "1942: Pacific Air War". Woolfman carefully brought the model up to EAW standards by giving it a propellor, a pilot, and transparent cockpit; and Harry McWilliams edited the model to create a Ki-44 Tojo.

For use with Charles Gunst's ECA (Enemy Coast Ahead) Control Panel.
To install, just unzip the *.TPC and *.3DZ files into your EAW directory.
